Doug Clark

Douglas Clark, happily married for over 40 years and the father of four awesome grown sons!
Broker/Associate working at  EXIT King Realty in Lakewood Ranch Florida, began his real estate career over sixteen (16) years ago. He opened EXIT Sunset Realty in June of 2013 with six agents, and it grew in the first year to over 20 agents as of October of 2014! In 2018, Doug decided to get back into sales full time and sold his brokerage to new ownership!
 Doug has a luxury home marketing designation and loves to "coach" his clients and has taken his passion for coaching competitive sports and has transitioned that winning coaching practice into the negotiating arena, as well as guiding and mentoring fellow agents, bringing them to the top of their game!
Doug has worked in sales and and served the community as the founder of the Braden River Soccer Club and a small business owner for more than 18 years including the automotive field until he sold his business in 2008 and moved his focus to full time real estate. After a few years of strictly sales, Doug moved into a position as a productivity Coach and was able to get the best from the new agents coming into the brokerage. Due to his competitive nature, he decided to become a broker, made his own EXIT and has brought mentoring skills and the drive for winning to his brokerage.
Doug and his team are members of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), Florida Association of REALTORS®, and the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee counties (RASM.) Doug has GRI Designation,(Graduate Real Estate Institute) certified in Short Sale Mastery and a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing (ILHM).
