Brian (BT) Tyson

Hello, my name is Brian Tyson, friends call me BT. When I turned twelve my dad bought into a Lumber and Hardware business and built our family home. So of course most weekends and evenings throughout my teens I spent working next to my dad on the house and various other construction projects, thus beginning my foray into the world of Real Estate. In my late twenties I bought my first house, a fixer upper, and flipped it over a couple of years while living in it. I will never ever forget the feeling of receiving that first real estate check when I sold it. Wow, a years salary in one check, I was hooked. I went on to buy, fix up, and sell my next couple of houses as well eventually deciding that a career in RE was worth a shot. In 2012 I earned my RE License and have been helping others enjoy the benefits of RE ownership ever since. Here in Los Alamos we enjoy a very unique real estate situation with our small town, its isolation, and a constant influx of people from around the world coming to work at LANL. These circumstances can be both profitable and/or very frustrating depending upon whether youre an investor taking advantage of a booming rental market, a new hire searching desperately for a place to stay, or an established resident looking to move your growing family into something newer and bigger.
