Tim Churchwell

I run a team of commercial real estate professionals. We utilize a consultative and collaborative approach to servicing our clients.  That means that we take a team approach and the time and effort to to understand our clients' needs and implement the correct analysis and strategies to meet our clients' objectives.  
I hold the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) Designation and I'm honored to have been elected to sit on the 2024 Global Board of Directors for CCIM.  I am the 2024 Regional VP for CCIM. 
I also hold positions with the NAR Real Estate Research Committe and the Virginia Research Committee. In addition to my board responsibilities, I have guest lectured on commercial real estate at Regent School of Law and a regular columnist on commercial real estate. In 2009, I earned the Hampton Roads Commercial Sales and Leasing Award.
I am CREOBA (Commercial REO Brokers Association) certified.  I have done hundreds of broker valuations for lenders, investors, estate attorneys and CPA's.  
Prior to entering real estate, I earned my BSBA, Finance, from East Carolina University (GO Pirates!) and was a Vice President and licensed New York Stock Exchange branch manager for a NYSE firm. I have also sat on the boards of directors for Virginia Federal Capital Credit Union and the Jefferson Davis Enterprize Zone.
Believing that giving back to the community is important, I have had the priviledge of being a Charter member of the Huguenot Rotary Club and the past president of the Smithfield Rotary Club. In my free time, I love spending time with my kids canoing, camping, hiking, and laughing.
