From Taos, where US 64 turns left at the light to go to Tres Piedras, drive about 23.2 miles to Colorado Road (entry to Rio Grande Ranchos subdivisions - has identifying sign at road but no sign identifying Colorado Road); turn right. Drive 9/10 mile. Turn right right where the main road curves to the left. This is an unnamed 2-track dirt road. It runs on the right side of a barbed wire fence. Drive to the end of it, 9/10 mile. Turn left on Elk Road (no sign). Drive 2.4 miles. At 1.9 miles, the road moves from the left side of a barbed wire fence to the right side. At 2.4 miles, Elk Road curves right onto Pinon Drive (also not marked). Drive 7/10 mile on Pinon Drive. At that point, there is a huge pinon which bends over the road. I put orange flagging tape on it. The lot is 328' south of Pinon Drive. I put orange flagging at this point, which is the approximate location of the lot. Lot is NOT surveyed or marked, so this is only the APPROXIMATE location.
